Report by Dave 'Gazelle' Braddick  (Drummond's Chief Football Writer)*

Drummond went into this match with their confidence high, despite the defeat at the hands of Bridon Ropes. Drummond started like men possessed as Rab 'C Nesbitt' Anderson hit a quick fire hat trick within the first twenty minutes. Brockley snatched a goal back as Drummond took their foot off the pedal and the half ended with the score at 3-1. After encouraging words from the gaffer, Peter 'White Feather' Neville, Drummond found their scoring touch once more. Further goals from Sean 'the Ghost' Hunt, Dean 'Martin Fowler' Graham and debut boy Darren 'Ginger' Hancock took Drummond into a 6-1 lead. With the game one the gaffer decided to show the world that he's still got it. Replacing Rab the hat trick hero, he spent the next 20 minutes running around shouting at everyone before coming up with the goods and completing the rout with a goal.

Report by Dave 'Gazelle' Braddick  (Drummond's Chief Football Writer)*

Following the convincing victory the week before, Drummond thought this game, against lesser opponents - would be a breeze. How wrong they were as within 10 minutes they were a goal behind. Drummond managed to draw level with a goal from Sean 'the Ghost' Hunt only to go behind once again. Drummond then took the lead with goals from Alex 'Bend in like Beckham' Hill, a fine curling free kick and Dave 'Gazelle' Braddick, an equally fine penalty. Despite harsh words and changes at half time Drummond squandered their lead and the game ended 5-4 to the visitors. Darren 'Ginger' Hancock scored a consolation goal for the home side, his second in as many games.
