14/7/2007    The SVLA expands...
The Southern Veterans League today voted to expand to four divisions to accommodate new teams wishing to join the league. At the same time the number of teams in each division will be reduced to 9 or 10 teams in order to reduce the number of games extending into May. Drummond will continue to play their games in Division three.

In a sometimes stormy meeting, Montrose failed to regain membership to the league when the vote narrowly went against them.
